Pictured above is the cast and crew of An Arts Response. This was the culmination of the East Hampton Prevention Partnership Educational series with Epoch Arts. This brave and courageous group spoke, performed and shared their art in response to the two part Speak Out series which was held on the 2 weekends prior. Thank you to all involved!

Vaping 101

East Hampton CT Vaping

Vaping 101: The students of The Learning Center were a fantastic audience to a brief ‘Vaping 101’ presentation. They were introduced to various topics that affect them and their classmates. The students learned a great amount of information while sharing their own personal experiences and knowledge on the topic to their peers.

East Hampton Clergy and Family Support Group

Several representatives of various East Hampton, CT Churches were in attendance of a meeting called together by EHPP. The goal was to introduce them to the work that EHPP is doing within the community and how their parishes could partner. The single meeting determined there is a community need to host a family support group for those with loved ones battling a substance use disorder. This free, and open group will host it’s first meeting on 3/16 at 6:00pm

East Hampton Prevention Partnership 2019 Events

March Meeting  

East Hampton Prevention Partnership will host it’s regular Coalition meeting on Tuesday, March 19th at 3:00pm. Join them at the  East Hampton High School Library.

Youth Committee

 The Youth Committee of the East Hampton Prevention Partnership will meet on March 7th, 2019  immediately after school in the East Hampton High School Library.

New Family Support Group

 Family members of those battling a substance use disorder are invited to join the family support group on 3/16 at 6:00pm in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Located at 1 East High St in East Hampton.


Connecticut Association of Prevention Professionals

 The March Connecticut Association of Prevention Professionals meeting will be on the topic of Youth Engagement. EHPP Youth Committee Members will join Old Saybrook’s Youth Action Council members to discuss the topic on 3/22 at 9:30am at Energize CT Center in North Haven. EHPP members are welcome to attend.

PTTASC Training

Engaging Community Sectors: Using National Prevention Week to Engage Coalition Members & New Community. National Prevention Week is May 12-18, 2019. Learn from prevention professionals who used National Prevention Week in past years to successfully engage coalition members and build partnerships with new community sectors. 03/12 9:00 am
